Dear list,

is there any free and preferably open-source software which does the following :

-Constant monitoring and interpretation of router logs regarding wireless events

Even in a secure network , one is prone to receive probes and requests from rogue and unauthorized devices. Basically,
i want to know when this happens and keep a log of it with any of the available information ( MAC , computer name).

From the digging i've done , i'm not 100 % sure that D-Link (the one i use) routers actually support /or log this
events ; is there any device more suitable that already builts in this features?

Regards,
Fisher
