RE: Firewall for Windows Server 2003

If I understand this correctly, you need a firewall to run on the same box as the Windows Server 2003 OS. If this is 
correct, as stated ISA is a pretty good option as it integrates very well. Another option (assuming you have the 
resources for it) is to run a virtual firewall in a Virtual Machine (Vmware Server). I have seen setups with a small 
virtual m0n0wall where one physical interface of the server is connected to the LAN and the second interface is bound 
to the Host-Only network in VMware. You then have one of the virtual firewalls interfaces bound to the Host-Only 
network and the second bridged to the second Physical interface of the server. This essentially gives you a full 
firewall on the same physical server as the Server OS. While this may not be an optimal choice and I cannot attest to 
the security of this setup, it is pretty clever and free.
