NetCool by Micromuse just recently acquired Guarded.Net, maker of NeoSecure, so most likely the SIM product line up
offered by Micromuse will change shortly..

John,
Jeff Ames has started to review this page on our website which should detail
every SIM on the market, the first draft is at
http://www.securitywizardry.com/consoles.htm

I notice it is missing Netcool for Security Managers (NfSM) but may be a
good starting point. Any suggestions for corrections omissions would be
appreciated.

Whichever you go for (if any) make sure you try them first as they vary
considerably ESPECIALLY with respect to compatibility with YOUR network.

are you talking about security information management (security logs,
correlations,
dashboard?)

look at Computer Associates eTrust Security command center or etrust
Audit.

Hi,

For those of you whop have evaluated/installed a SIM
product, i would like your opinions/experiences.

Which one to look for and those one we should stay
away.

There's no better recommendation then someone who has
gone thru this process....

Thanks
