Re: IPX over IPSec VPNs or SSL VPNs

I haven't had a chance to read the whole article, but if, as
it appears, OpenVPN can bridge too then it will of course be
able to transport non-IP protocols, including IPX! I stand
corrected- it appears there is at least one SSL VPN client
that can transport IPX....

Thanks for the link.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't OpenVPN capable of
handling the IPX protocol, As stated on the
  OpenVPN's website FAQ.

  http://openvpn.net/faq.html

"What is the difference between bridging and
  routing?
Bridging and routing are two methods of linking
  systems via a VPN.
  Bridging advantages
       * Broadcasts traverse the VPN -- this allows
software that depends on LAN broadcasts such as
Windows NetBIOS file sharing and network
  neighborhood browsing to work.
      * No route statements to configure.
      * Works with any protocol that can function over
Ethernet, including IPv4, IPv6, Netware IPX,
  AppleTalk, etc.
      * Relatively easy-to-configure solution for road
  warriors."
