Good day Steve, ISC2 defines professional experience as follow: Valid professional experience includes information systems security-related work performed as a practitioner, auditor, consultant, vendor, investigator or instructor, or that which requires IS security knowledge and involves direct application of that knowledge. As you can see it is very wide. The experience does not have to be contiguous and it could in only one or more of the 10 domains. Clement Clement Dupuis, CD CCCure Enterprise Security & Training Inc.
