Vendor Partnerships

Hi

I am joining a small consulting firm as their security guy. As of yet
they do not have any partner programs in place with Security vendors or
product manufacturers.

I am thinking of contacting the big distributors to see what they offer
the smaller firm, but would like to know if anyone has any comments they
would like to share.

I appreciate that there is not much mark up on reselling these days, and
will be using the consulting side of things to generate revenue, but
partnership status with some of the big boys/gals could help our
profile.
