It would be much more helpful if you provided some concrete reasons why ISA
server is bad. Without that, your reply would appear to be just a rant
against Microsoft products.

What possibly could go wrong?

I do not like it. I do not understand how anyone can use Microsoft as a
security solution. Norton and MacAfee have made billions off Microsoft
attacks, yet people still want to use it as a Security Solution. People sit
home and find ways to hack it, yet people still want to use it as a Security
Solution. I do not understand.

Subject: ISA server

Guys,
I'm looking for a good quality proxy product. I've got 2 Internet links
in 2 sites (connected via WAN) and I want a product that will act as a proxy
for each site but also allow the clients to go from one to the other in the
event of failure. I know that ISA server does this as part of a Proxy array
but the enterprise version is something liek £4.5k a piece!! Way to
expensive when I'm not using the firewall side of it!
Talking of which, second question.... how do you rate ISA server as a
whole?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Dave.
