Check out Panda Antivirus/Personal Firewall at www.pandasoftware.com They are really trying to get some penetration
into the market and have some great deals on offer including free software for IT professionals.

I've been installing a new system for a friend, and am wondering what
personal firewalls might be recommended for a home system running
Windows 2000 on a T1 line. Anyone have a recommendation other than
ZoneAlarm?

I use Kerio Personal Firewall [1] -- it's free and suits my needs at home.

You may also want to check out Agnitum's Outpost Firewall [2], haven't used it but a friend says it's good.

cheers,
