I just want to hope everybody does this, thinking of a laptop, even if the switch is just in my appartment complex, 
just lying there pushing off all my data to some other network, well that makes me mad. People remember to lock up your 
switches and or alarm them for port additions.

They must have had one really insecure location for there stuff, eh? Personal like is why I like to have at least a locked cabinet mounted to the wall if a full sized, enclosed rack is not needed. That way you can provide some protection for your equipment in an insecure location.
