Andrew
Firstly, apologies to all as I have already mentioned my website today and I
don't like mentioning it too much, as I get flamed when I do

But to clarify the site is completely unbiased and independent listing
salient details on security products and services.

To meet your need Andrew you need to look at HIDS Host IDS, which will soon
separate out Host IPS

the link is http://www.networkintrusion.co.uk/HIDS.htm and there are
currently 24 listed, if you come across any that I'm missing please let me
know

cheers

Subject: intrusion detection

Hi,
I need some intrusion detection software for windows 2000 server.
Something that will detect, prevent, and maybe send logs back to a syslog
server. Any suggestions? Also is there any logs I can look at besides
w3svc
logs? I want to look at anything. Not just IIS.

Thanks
Andrew
