My supervisor is open source minded and would not like to spend the bucks on Tripwire. Can anyone suggest an open source comparison that will run on multiple Unix platforms?

There are a number of them, check out OSIRIS as a good example. I'm a bit confused though, Tripwire is free on *nix. I couldn't find any for my win2k boxes, so I'm writing one in Perl, but there were plenty for linux.
