I don't know if there is a policy that forces users to log onto the domain (I assume you're running Windows 2000 on the server and client end), but if you lock out through the BIOS accessing any drives save the NTFS HDD, and you change the local administrator account to have a different name and password, the odds of someone cracking it are minimized. If you're using Windows 98, you can use the System Policy Editor to force them to log onto the domain or the local machine is inaccessible to most people. However, there are ways around that if the individual is resourceful enough or experienced with Windows 98... --- "J.S" <mwharbi () hotmail com> wrote:
