The text about "The quick brown fox bla bla bla..." is taken from the font sample texts. If you go to win control panel and then choose fonts and double click any of them you will see the same text. The text depends on the language of your OS the spanish version of it is "El veloz murciélago hindú comía feliz cardillo y kiwi." and the russian says something about the french rolls. Did you guys know that you can even play a real game in winword? I would guess that this is probably a left-over from the initial testing
and
debugging. The 1st number is the number of paragraphs and the second
number
is the number of times "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." is repeated in the paragraph. -----Original Message----- From: Holland, Stephen To: VULN-DEV () SECURITYFOCUS COM Sent: 3/15/01 11:50 AM Subject: Bug or just having fun in WordNot even Bill Gates can explain this one! Try this: Open a Word document and type this: = rand (200,99) Press enter and wait 3 seconds... Microsoft will reward $$$ to anyone who can explain it.
