Quoting percival () NS1 DEVNULL NL (percival () NS1 DEVNULL NL):
Well, moving icqhttp.dll gets us a yellow/white field in the ad window.
remove xmlparse.dll or simply delete directory ~icq\partner to get rid of the
happy happy joy joy sms note on top. But these are just partial workarounds.

If you remove or change any of these files they will automaticly be restored,
downloaded or whatever. You have to explicitly state you do NOT want server
updates to the software... Maybe you can leave the directory where it is
but make it read-only or something? :]

Sander.
