Quoting Mike Duncan (korny69 () RANDOMTASK NET):

never seen the stupid ICQ ads till he sent me a message. It could be
that ICQ 2000x might have it builtin to allow server upgrades to
software ... but it might also not know where everyone is until someone

As I said in a previous message :]
The client supports server upgrades, and you can turn them off for all
I know in the preferences menu...

I don't know if this will fix the ads-adding, becuase that probably is
a complete different strategy by AOL

Regards,
Sander.
