Staying motivated and keeping focus

When I am not focused/ motivated I find it helps if I organize my workspace,
from there I make a check list of what I want to do. I then decaffeinate up
(tea, coffee) and get to work. I usually take ten minute breaks every other
hour so I don't burn out. I also accept that I'm only going to get about 4
hours of real solid work that is actual progress, once I get there I call it
a day and work on other things I enjoy that are not strenuous on my mind.

I get away from things for a little while. Lack of focus can be the start
of burnout. Lack of focus is your mind saying it needs a break. While you
are doing something new, your mind will usually come up with new insights.
It's like your mind continues to process in the background.
