wrt54g v5 any good?

I have the wrt54gl, which is the same thing with more memory to install an
OS on it. But even if you dont install dd-wrt (which I did), the hardware is
still rock solid. DD-WRT just makes rock solid and very flexible.

DD-WRT seemed to work pretty well on that platform if you want to
replace the factory firmware. They have a DD-WRT micro edition that we
covered in the book.

Cheers,

Hi everyone,

I picked up a wrt54g v5 router. looks like its the neutered one with the
hardware toned down.

I see that the micro flash can be installed on it, but I won't think
that this unit is not any good?

What do you guys think...

Thanks,
Jim
