I've used ThinApp before, however I wouldn't use it for the usecases
that Ncat portable is useful for. A drop-in self binary is way better
then what ThinApp does, which is a snapshot of the system after
installing a certain app, which includes registry keys, files and who
knows what else(the size of the resulted package is not nice also). And
then there's the different driver versions problem, a task which is
accomplished by the WinPcap installer at setup time, and once installed,
I don't think it has the logic to switch between different driver
versions when ran in different Windows platforms.

I'm also uncertain of the licensing possibilities of the resulted
packages and the fact the ThinApp is not free.

Just my view on it.
