BTW, I don't think I'm opposed to the messages like this with -v when there are real scripts running. My concern was that scripts were running uneccessarily (e.g. the ones which had their conditionals in the action rather than the prerule statement), and a side effect of that problem was the pointless (in those cases) verbosity.
