With all due respect I don't think you have an inkling of the magnitude of the spam problem if you can say something like this. And what does it have to do with recipient ISP abuse desks? Your basic point is well taken, it would be better if everyone could do end to end TLS etc. Not so much to evade the NSA (probably hopeless for most people) but the more run of the mill snooper.
