They also don't try very hard to get the PTR record. If the packet is lost, has a routing issue, or a DDoS prevents reliable access to the name servers, you will also get emails hard rejected until it resolves again. I'd always had correct rDNS so it took quite some head scratching to figure out the hiccup.
