David, you are missing the point. The TM holder doesn't want the gtld, they just want to protect their trademark. The TM holder doesn't have a contract with ICANN. They do however have a legitimate right to the name and want to spend $0 keeping the name out of anybodys hands but theirs. $187K is not longer a amount to be sneezed at. Mark
