Does anyone have any theoretical numbers that would indicate which protocol
has a faster convergence time in a given situation? Are there any true
performance diffrences?
Anyway, if you are ISP, you should aware of vendor'c compatibility, iBGP
over IGP, and quality of protocol realisation, but you never have chance
to see protocol performance if you was not so crazy to advertise BGP
routing into IGP or vice versa.

Through the IS-IS and OSPF workgroup's membners opinion is of a great
interest - I hope they did theoretical comparation of this protocols.
