Sigh, there are more "cures" for spam floating around IP in this thread
than all the nostrums out there that claim to cure the common cold ..

Pay to send email isnt the way to go, seriously.  ISPs who fell into the
error of believing it'd work (most notably a large korean ISP called  
Daum)
have tried it before and seen it fail miserably, Bill Gates was thinking
about a system of paid stamps for email in 2004 and that's not
implemented, the EFF accused AOL / Goodmail of doing it this way but  
that
turned out not to be the case at all, and dearaol.com is dead in the
water anyway, now ..
