ports ports and more ports

Remember when you get scanned for odd ports they may not be looking for a backdoor but maybe an exploitable service. With the recent amount of 'what are these ports' questions I thought I'd post this great list I came across. This list of ports came from the great people at attrition.org. It is from a TCL they put together for eggdrop bots. Just thought I'd give credit where credit is deserved. Anyway, the tcp port list is at: http://project801.org/list.tcp and the udp list is: http://project801.org/list.udp They are extremly long so thats why I linked to them and didn't include here. On a side note, anyone know why /robots.txt is being requested maybe 3-4 times daily on my webserver? It happens quite often, and with other webservers too. I'm not too concerned about it just a little curious. -- Tyler
