Any opinion on whether it is Wine to run Win apps like iTunes or just run WinSomething in a VM? -chris
Check the AppDB at winehq.org for status of any application you want to run under Wine. iTunes-9.0.2(latest tested) does not install/run with latest Wine-1.1.33 [1], which gives it a rating of "garbage" :-) I gave up on Wine long time ago, and just use WinXP VM in VirtualBox or Vmware Player, much less pain to setup and use, and much easier to manage.
