When I reviewed Terminal Server vs Citrix a couple years ago the Microsoft rep who came out to make the pitch stated that if we cared about security of the connection we needed to use Citrix becouse Terminal Server did not implement enough for use over untrusted links. so either use Terminal Server over a VPN or use Citrix (citrix will implement strong encryption and can do strong authentication tokens as well) David Lang On Tue, 28 Jan 2003 natfirewall () netscape net wrote:

Being the paranoid that I am, I do not want to do this but I need better reasons/ammunition other than saying "it would be bad". I am looking for pointers to information hopefully in support of my fear of M$ security. Also, the more recent the information the better. Not being close minded, I would also be interested in seeing any information which would make me feel warm and fuzzy about opening the port.
