There is a book on network security, called, I believe, Hacker-Proof, by Lars
Klander, published by Jamsa Press, for about $55. (It apparently includes a CD
of several "demo" packages, including Gauntlet.)

Is anyone familiar with this book? Would you recommend it?

Would you recommend any others?

I have this book (and several others). I personally would not recommend
it. Without going into a rant based on reading it when it first came out,
I found it to be lacking overall. The name of the book catches eyes, but
doesn't go into much (accurate) detail on hacker methodolgy, mindset, or
anything else you might expect out of it.

Internet Security Professional Reference is the best I have seen in a
while, but I must qualify that with "i haven't read the whole thing".
