Re: Conference in April -- concerns?

I'm going to Virginia Tech this weekend for the SANS offering, and I'm
teaching a course in Orlando in a month because it's already booked and
paid for, but I made the decision this week to skip SPC and the RIMM this
year (for the first time in...since St. Louis, I think).

It's heartbreaking because there are some folks I only see once a year
anyway (hi, Isabelle!) and Seattle is a fantastic place for a conference
(I'd planned to meet up with some friends from Microsoft), but especially
with travelling in March and April I just can't justify the risk given how
we're handling things at the national level.

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone else is concerned about attending the security
professionals conference next month. With everything going on in
Washington state, I am more than a little nervous about taking unnecessary
risks by traveling there.
