We currently use Nextiva by Verint. There are several reasons why we like this product among them are support for
legacy analog cameras, non-proprietary hardware, support of large number of third party cameras, cost, and ease of use
of the software. Verint primarily develops the VMS, cameras and they have arrangements with Dell and EMC to provide
the servers and storage, but you can use whoever you like. They also support the ONVIF standard. We have added
wireless, but Verint has discontinued their wireless option. One thing that we have started looking at is using point
to point bridges, but we have not done anything with this yet. In my experience wireless can be very tricky to get
right and the expectations are always very high. One of the down sides to Verint is that you need to work through an
systems integrator especially for the installation of servers and storage unless you are installing a very large system
(1,500+ cameras). If you would like more information please give me a call.

Subject: [SECURITY] Video Surveillance System - RFQ/RFP

All -

Our District is looking to replace our Cisco video surveillance system with something else. We currently have close to
200 cameras being monitored between three colleges and multiple centers and sites. We are looking to expand these
numbers in the near future by a couple of hundred over the next 3-4 years or as budget permits.

We are in the early stages of developing an RFI/RFP to replace our current system. We would be interested in hearing
from other institutions what systems you are currently using and if you are happy with it. If you have recently gone
through the RFI/RFP process and you can share it with us that would be wonderful. I will certainly share ours once we
have it put together. I would also be interested if anyone has incorporated wireless cameras into this mix.

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. Your input is much appreciated.

Harry
