Hmm.... And so the (false) choice is between almost no control and draconian control... And the IT community has spent so much time over the years complaining that Microsoft was the enemy. At least with MRT.exe we have a choice to allow it run run... or a least a box to check that says we have a choice. Resistance is futile... The EDUCAUSE Security Constituent Group Listserv <SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU> writes: ... "And FWIW, Apple has much more draconian control over their apps, so if control over your device is something you value, then the Android is still a much better choice than an iPhone. I would say the iPhone is a better choice for people who specifically want others to control their experience and environment (including which apps you're allowed to run on your phone)." -Adam
