Hello All, The University Of Scranton is currently accepting applications for an Information Security Engineer. The successful candidate will work with the Information Security Manager to develop and implement tools and processes to monitor compliance, provide enforcement, and update baseline security standards and data classification schemes. The Information Security Engineer is also responsible for incident management, attack detection and response, threat mitigation, and security auditing. Applicants need to have a minimum of two years experience with information security technologies. B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is required. CISSP, SSCP, or CISA certification is preferred. Essential is a solid foundation in information security practices, security architectures, computer forensics, network communications and architecture, incident response, and threat management, as are excellent communication skills, both oral & written.
