*Network Security Engineer – Information Technology Services*

Full-time position to provide engineering solutions, system
administrative support, and strategic advisement for the Information
Security Infrastructure and the Ithaca College IT enterprise.  These
efforts include design, deployment, maintenance, and operations of the
security systems infrastructure and analysis, reporting, and response to
the information collected by those systems. *Qualifications:* Bachelor’s
degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or the
equivalent combination of education, training and/or information
security certification or directly related technical experience; three
or more years experience in information security, network engineering,
and/or system administration; strong technical background in IT security
and an in-depth understanding of network architecture and protocols;
strong administrative experience with Microsoft, Solaris and Linux
operating systems, including script development; strong communication
(written, oral, and presentation) and interpersonal skills, including
the ability to communicate effectively on technical issues with
non-technical personnel; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
and across organizational boundaries are required.  Experience with a
variety of contemporary security applications, security practice or
product certifications, and work experience in a higher education
