Hi Daniel,

Our computer use policy (which is acknowledged electronically on a yearly basis by students, staff and faculty) has a
section that includes Blogs and Social Networks and notes that "Employees and students who engage in activities that
compromise the privacy of others, or disclose or discuss confidential or proprietary information, are violating
institutional policy and will be subject to appropriate sanctions." The full policy can be viewed at
http://www.bentley.edu/computing-use/index.cfm.

Patty

Subject: [SECURITY] Social Networking Websites...Policies? Procedures?

Hi All,

We're looking at Social Network Websites (IE: Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and trying to determine what news risks they may
pose (Harassment, Defamation, Intentional exposure of security vulnerabilities, etc), to our institution and students
and wondering if any of the other schools have develop any policies or guidance relating to this. Have you included
this in your student or faculty code of conducts?

Thanks,
