Gonzaga provides this to both faculty and staff who are retiring. Retirement period is defined by HR, not by IT. They have access to e-mail, but no other internal resources. Abuse would result in termination of those rights. As someone else indicated, there are few people that take advantage of this option. Of course, it's not an advertised benefit of retirement unless they ask.
