How many computers did you deploy this to?
We manage about 175 computers.
And they're on a home network without the benefit of any network and email security precautions you provide them on campus. :)
Well they get some protections. Many of the dial-up users use the dial-up service provided by UF. We've encouraged those who have broadband to use a home router. Some of the broadband users also use the UF provided VPN. If they are using their DCP or UF email, then the same virus scanning of the email still gets done. They should be able to receive the dat updates from us on a daily basis. The Windows firewall will also be on. Of course, all this offers very limited protection against this threat. -- Todd
