My personal weblog gets literally thousands of comment spam submissions
per night, most of them are now blocked with a simple movable type
plugin that moderates comments with more than 2 or 3 links in them. It
also 'whitelists' people who's comments have been previously approved
and works very well. Personally I find capthca type solutions to be
annoying at best and ineffective at worst.
