The hackers-security relationship is not the same as the spammer-anti-spam/security relationship. Calling someone a hacker defines their mindset, their approach to a problem. A spammer is someone who has already chosen a certain path. A hacker could be a spammer and vice versa, but I think the intersection of the two would be a pretty small population. A hacker can have all sorts of ethics, but a spammer has already pretty much chosen their ethical position. -R -- | robert lemos | mail () robertlemos com | | editor-at-large | securityfocus | | security watch columnist | pc magazine | | technology & science journalist | http://www.robertlemos.com | _______________________________________________ Dailydave mailing list Dailydave () lists immunitysec com http://lists.immunitysec.com/mailman/listinfo/dailydave
