"Yes, no one is elite as us and could possibly continue phrack!"Even if Phrack is declared dead, once a smart & motivated crew of people come along they'll resurrect it anyhow, no ?
Good point. It occurs to me that if I had editorial control of a legendary 'zine that was "limp and gasping for breath" for years, what better way to flush the Best and Brightest out of the woodwork? "Last call to get your nym carved on the Phrack Virtual Granite Memorial!!!" Obligatory tangent veer*: With the exception of Kevin Mitnick's _The Art of Deception_, Psy Ops get way too little attention in the hacking community, IMO. My guess is too little time is spent involved in human interaction, and it just doesn't matter how or what you say to a computer (yet). Anyone catch the talk on NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) at DC X, right before GOBBLES? ( http://www.defcon.org/html/defcon-10/defcon-10-speakers.html#error ). If the video's online I recall it being a decent enough short intro to the subject. Make friends, influence people, achieve World Domination in your spare time... Books by Bandler and Grinder are the best, I'm told. Apparently, the business weasels _are_ picking up on NLP, if Amazon is an indicator. See also http://tinyurl.com/6jk93 Fwiw, I like this book http://tinyurl.com/5trxs if you can find it. Warm regards, and everyone keep looking over their shoulder ;-) Surreal * it's what I do. I accept it. _______________________________________________ Dailydave mailing list Dailydave () lists immunitysec com https://lists.immunitysec.com/mailman/listinfo/dailydave
