is it not possible for a hacker to set his own boot device before performing his reboot, and then reset it back to whatever-it-was later? ie by messing with /dev/openprom or whatever its called
Not if you installed my little /dev/security thing, which among other things removes all ability to open the eeprom for any reason once the door is locked. Guess why I added that snippet :-) der Mouse mouse () collatz mcrcim mcgill edu
