I remember seeing someone on here mention a while ago that once you =
disable IP_FORWARDING in a kernel, even if you recompile the kernel and =
take out the 'option' statement, IP_FORWARDING is *still* disabled.. does anyone have any experience with this and know how to re-enable it=
?
Which OS? I am assumeing yiu are refering to SunOS on my systems I simply add the line: echo "ip_forwarding/W-1" | adb -wk /vmunix /dev/mem to my rc.local. While we are an the subject I would also recomend adding the following als= o: echo "nfs_portmon/W1" | adb -wk /vmunix /dev/mem -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6 iQBVAwUBLyf+mHynuL1gkffFAQF3sQH+NAjbjXBqH6mzjjta+DOxEdUQGrnDsPt1 t8WIqH9H3k9ezt4gPVYUkUT9C/u+WJH98EefH/Hk5FxNNc0tmmzURQ=3D=3D =3DsntX -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
