pcAnywhere does not have the ability to block a remote user from
accessing the network any differently then a locally logged in user.
You have to be careful with pcAnywhere because the remote user will
receive the rights of whoever is locally logged in to the workstation.

The have more than one security options. So you can choose
authentication (windows auth, pcany ...) Take a look here:

They offer also a good encryption.

Keep in mind that he will be locally logged on your network as some
user. 
Remember local exploits like pipeudadmin / privilege escalation.
