I have a home network which I believe is reasonably secure. I connect my work laptop to it when I'm home. My employer requires a VPN to connect to our email server or other resources on the network, and the VPN software disables the feature to bridge to my local network. Check your route table (on windows): ...> route print It is likely that your VPN software changes it so that the route to your local printer goes thru your office. You can try to add a direct route to you printer to override these settings (it is possible to do it thru GUI, but `route add' is better if you want to automate this). -- Regards, ASK
