Go to the properties of the wireless NIC Click on the wireless networks tab Click advanced (near the bottom) Check the access point (infrastructure) networks only radio button make sure automatically connect to non-preferred networks is unchecked close the advance tab Delete the neighbors network from the preferred networks area OK out of everything You should be set. -----Original Message----- From: Bruyere, Michel [mailto:mbruyere () ezemcanada com] Sent: Thursday, March 25, 2004 6:36 AM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Wireless access Hi, I have a user who uses a wireless network at home.
