Course is advisable, but if you are a good enough bookworm you may get through. I used the "All in One Cissp Certification" by Shon Harris & found it to be a pretty good. There's so much to cover and most of us can't get by on just one. Fortunately I bought the book & work paid for the course. The course becomes more worthwhile when you take into account the interaction you get with a tutor & students. This is somehting that you can't get from a book. -----Original Message----- From: SeSMA [mailto:seguridad () masev cl] Sent: Friday, 5 September 2003 11:20 AM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: CISSPS preparation Hi, im thinking about take the cissps exam. i need some advice about good reading, and how hard it's. take a preparation course o study by my self? thx -- Patricio Bruna Servicios de Seguridad Informática www.masev.cl --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attend Black Hat Briefings & Training Federal, September 29-30 (Training), October 1-2 (Briefings) in Tysons Corner, VA; the world's premier technical IT security event.
