Bravo.  Like the OS wars, there is no "best" solution.  The "best" solution for you is the one that works best for you: 
if you like RedHat, a BSD solution is not likely to be your best solution, much less if you're a Windows Admin and 
somebody tells you that Checkpoint on Solaris is the way to go.

Security is a process and a mindset, not a cut-and-dried cookie cutter.  Your need for protection and technical fortes 
will almost guarantee you'll come up with a different solution than I would.  If it meets your needs, then it's a good 
solution: if it doesn't, you need to look further. . .
