Pretty open-ended. It depends a lot on what the POP and cable head-end look like. Cable has a shared LAN at the local subscriber end (just for fun, see how many of
your cable neighbors have open shares ;-) DSL is point-to-point all the way up to the local office.Once you reach the termination point, the two are subject to the same architectural
constraints: a switched LAN, ATM fabric, shared LAN, gawd-knows what.Based on that, you could say DSL is marginally more secure, but the difference may be teeny.
