Have you tried "Follow TCP Stream" in the "Analyze" menu?
Indeed that gives me a more textual representation but unfortunately not enough for my purpose... I guess one needs to write a dissector to get more value out of the HTTP POST data? I could not find it in the Preferences, but I was hoping there is one out there anyway. Anybody?
