Battle Royale

Ultra-violent Japanese survivalist cult classic, pitting teenagers against
themselves and the state.  Uses nmap, although you need to be quick to spot
it, the concept of logic bombs, and a frantic hack with life as the flag.

The ultimate expression of coding to a deadline.

Film Four and Sky screen it occasionally, so although not full mainstream,
it is a well regarded film.  I believe a high budget sequel/remake is
planned.
