Well the idea is to locate any kind of hardware flaw.. It could be router, it could be switch, hub, or even server. And for any platform originally but I guess we can start with UNIX-based systems. I know even that's pretty broad, but I am looking for something so broad. haven't been able to find any.

looking for? What type of vulnerability? What type of system (Windows,
Unix, Linux, etc or Router, Hub, Switch, etc or NAS, USB, or anything
else)?

I'm sure there are resources available, however more specifics are
needed before links or general ideas can be provided. =)
